FAQ’s

We support any browser and version, which supports and works with the Adobe Flash Player.

If you do not have the Adobe Flash Player installed, go here to download and install the Adobe Flash Player client.

Most operating systems (eg. Windows, Linux, MacBooks), labtops and mobile devices such as tablets and cellphones will work with Precise.Pro, since they are able to support the installation of the Adobe Flash Player, which is needed for the recording of videos both during setup and user feedback.

The systems we have found not to work is either an iPhone, iPad or Blackberry, which operating systems does not support Adobe Flash Player at this time.

If you do not have the Adobe Flash Player installed, and have one of the above mentioned devices and operating systems, go here to download and install the Adobe Flash Player client.

Either you have not installed Adobe Flash on your Laptop or mobile device, or you simply can’t install Java, since you are using either an iPhone, iPad or Blackberry, which operating systems does not support Adobe Flash Player at this time.

However, if you have a working operating system and device with a camera and microsoft, and if you do not have the Adobe Flash Player installed, you can go here to download and install the Adobe Flash Player client.

Another reason (eg. if you have installed the Adobe Flash Player) could be that you forgot to approve activation of your camera and microphone, when asked to do so inside the Precise.Pro administrator and editor module.

Try having a look at our guide below to see what to do.

Here is why your video camera and microphone does not work, when you try to start recording a video briefing or interview.

You have either forgotten to install Adobe Flash Player or approve that the camera may turn on, when asked inside the Precise.Pro Editor module.

Another reason could be that you are using either an iPad, iPhone or Blackberry device, that does not support the use of the Adobe Flash Player, which is nessesary to use in order to record a video using the Precise.Pro solution.

Visit Adobe’s website and download the Flash Player, whereafter you need to follow the instructions from Adobe to ensure that he software has been installed correctly.

We suggest that you do not accept other tools than Adobe Flash Player functionality, should Adobe suggest added features in their install client, such as Ask or Google etc., which are usually something you can tick off. These features are not nessesary for using Precise.Pro and do not add functionality to the Adobe Flash Player either.

You find the Adobe Flash Player here

First of all you need to have the Adobe Flash Player installed on your computer or mobile device, such as a Tablet.

If you do not have the Adobe Flash Player installed, you will need to do that first, following the FAQ above, before reading further instructions below.

So, to accept the Adobe Flash Player to work automatically so you do not have to accept it each time you start a video briefing or interview in Precise.Pro, you will need to do the following.

1. Accept the Adobe Flash Player just before the recording starts, where you should see the following you should accept or tick accept in, when you are asked if you will allow if the microphone and video camera can be used by the Adobe Flash Player;

  • Allow – marked as a radio button, which you should select
  • Remember – marked as a box, which you should put a tick inside

2. Your Internet browser may additionally ask you if you want to save the information, which you should accept (eg. for the Precise.Pro video session only!), if you do not want to perform the steps again later on, when you do another video briefing and interview.

3. If it still does not work, your Internet browser may be restricted due to company IT policy rules, where we suggest you contact your IT Department and ask them to come by and see the problem at hand. They are welcome to contact us, if  they have any security quetions regarding our Precise.Pro online solution.

4. If you need to use the service, and your work computer does not work at the time of need, our service will work on any computer having a working video camera and microphone attached, running most versions Windows, Linux or MacBook OS.

5. Also, if you are running an Antivirus software which asks whether you should accept Adobe Flash Player as an approved application, you just might have to accept that in order for your video camera to work with Precise.Pro in your Internet browser. We do suggest, that you should call your antivirus software vendor or your IT Department, if you are in doubt of what to do if asked such questions by your antivirus software.

6. Last but not least we furthermore encourage that your computer always is updated with the latest security patches from your provider of Operative System and any Application you may make use of, and that you have an updated and functional Antivirus software installed. Remeber always to perform a backup before updating your computer, and to to talk your IT Department, if you are in doubt of anything thus regarding.
